Tales of Vesperia (Xbox 360)

One of the better RPG games seen in some time, Tales of Vesperia provides a stunning and engaging play for all. The first thing everybody notices is the wonderful visuals that pretty much set the tone for the rest of the game. it comes a brilliant sequel, with entertaining game play and Japanese style RPG action.

The core cast will have you hooked onto their stories and make you want to understand their motivations. The dialogue has been well translated so that nothing goes awry when exploring of Terca Lumireis. The game play and story are fine tuned to not be repetitive while the maps and 50 hours of play will have you exploring deep into the night. The battle mechanics have been fixed up a bit making them simple yet entertaining. The difficulty level ramps up occasionally but nothing that you can beat with some practice. You have some great moves that feel elegant with the wonderful animations provided, which brings us to the visuals. The game is full of thoughtful, detailed and beautiful visuals that will have you hooked. The sound track is good although the female voice cast become slightly annoying now and then.

Any fans of the Tales series will love the game instantly. For the rest of us, Tales of Vesperia provides a great experience in terms of game play, story, combat and background structuring.
